Hoop Earrings, Thermoset, Variegated Marbleized Design, Screw-Back Style, Vintage

These vintage dangle hoop earrings are so unique and pretty! They are made of what I believe is Thermoset (plastic), so are light weight and easy to wear all day long. They are an interesting and beautiful combination of marbleized shades of yellow ochre, brown, tan and creamy white. They drop about 2 inches from the top to the bottom and are screw-back earrings. The earrings are unsigned, but they are beautifully designed, and quality made vintage costume jewelry. They most likely had a hang tag or were on a placard when originally purchased, which was discarded or lost by its original owner. I purchased these earrings as part of an estate from a woman who owned an antique store and was a collector of jewelry, purses, vintage collectible and artwork for her entire life. I believe they are from the 1950s – 1960s. Approximate measurements: • Diameter: 1 ½ inches CONDITION: Very good vintage condition. The gold tone metal on the screw-back mechanisms has darkened over the years with age-appropriate patina. The Thermoset hoops remain lovely and they have retained their smooth, polished sheen. There are no issues with the screw-back mechanisms. No repairs. These are vintage items, and have been gently used. I have done my best to describe them, but it is possible that a small defect could have escaped my notice.
