Virtues: SURAH AL-KAFIRUN (Quran Surah 109) • Recite before sleeping • The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Recite [the above] then go to sleep at the end of it, for it is a disavowal of polytheism.” (Tirmidhī 3403) THE THREE QULS (Quran Surah 112-114) • Recite three times in the morning & three times in the evening The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Recite Sūrah al-Ikhlās and al-Mu’awwidhatayn (Sūrah al-Falaq and Sūrah al-Nās) three times in the morning and the evening. It will suffice you in all respects.”** (Tirmidhī 3575) ‘It will suffice you in all respects’ means it will protect you from all evil. • Recite three times before sleeping ‘Ā’ishah (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhā) narrated that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ retired to bed every night, he would hold his hands together and then blow into them. He would recite [the above Sūrahs] into them. Then he would wipe them over whatever he could of his body, starting with his head and face and the front of his body, and he would do that three times.
