Jewelry Set, 4 Pieces, Designer KRAMER, Clear Rhinestones, Mid-Century Estate Find

This is a stunning vintage parure set that includes 4 pieces: a necklace, bracelet, and two clip-on earrings. The set features a multitude of clear ice, round and baguette rhinestones, each of which are prong set. Each piece is made with shiny silver tone metal. The necklace features a sparkling center design that measures 7 inches in length and drops 1 ¼ inches. It also has a row of rhinestones on each side, for a total length of the necklace of 15 ¼ inches, and this allows the necklace to be somewhat adjustable. It connects with a Shepherd’s hook. The bracelet features a coordinating design, and has a locking safety closure. The set of dangle earrings are a clip-on style. These are the perfect vintage accessories for an evening out on the town, a bride, a prom, or to complement a variety of outfits. Add this set to even a simple black dress and you will have instant Grace Kelly glamour, and they are also perfect to throw on with a simple top and jeans to add a bit of glamour to an everyday outfit. I purchased this set as part of an estate from a woman who owned an antique store, and collected jewelry, purses, vintage collectible and artwork for her entire life. Many of the items from her estate were New Old Stock, NOS, or rarely, if ever worn. This set appears to be one of those items. I believe the set is from the 1950s – 1960s. The necklace and earrings are both signed on the latches with the maker’s mark, KRAMER. There is no maker’s mark on any of the earrings, but they are certainly part of this set. Kramer of New York designs were well known for their fine jewelry look, its quality, and this is true of this exceptional set. Even the back of each piece is beautiful and of excellent craftsmanship. Small details such as the clasp on the bracelet were considered and lovingly designed. Joseph Kramer made jewelry from 1943 through 1980, and the slogan, “The Diamond Look by Kramer,” was on their packaging and an integral part of their advertising campaign during the 1940s and 1950s. The Kramer name and manufacturing is rightfully appreciated and famous, and he collaborated with Christian Dior during the 1950s. MEASUREMENTS (approximately): • Necklace (from end to end): 15 ¼ inches in length • Necklace (longest part): 1 ¼ inches in height/drop • Bracelet (from end to end): 7 ¼ inches in length • Bracelet (widest part): ½ inch in width • Earrings: 1 1/8 inches in length/drop • Earrings: ¼ inch in width CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition for the entire set. It looks like it was rarely worn, if at all. There are no missing rhinestones. All the rhinestones are sparkling and gorgeous. Both the necklace and bracelet clasps/closures are in good working condition. The clip-on earrings are functional and work well. The silver metal is shiny and beautiful. These are vintage items, and have been gently used. I have done my best to describe this set, but it is possible that a small defect could have escaped my notice.
