Pure Pumkin Seed Oil. Cold pressed by ourselves, bottled by ourselves. Nothing else. Our oil is a dark, rich colour. This is how real pumpkin seed oil should look like. Unfortunately when you go online and look at other sellers, the oils always seem to be extremely light and translucent in colour? Why is this? Where is the colour? How is it so white? Isn’t cold pressed oil supposed to be dark? Well, the truth is most oils are not produced by the supplier. They just import the oil (usually from China) which we all know by now are famous for one thing, and that is getting the most profit out of their product. How do they do this? They refine and bleach their oils using well-known chemical solvents like Hexane. This increases the yield but is also able to create an incredibly clear, lifeless oil that can be binded with other cheap oils such as vegetable oils or seed oils to bulk it out. This is common knowledge at this point and occurs way more then you think. That’s why we started to press our own seeds, because we were fed up of buying oils online and then receiving lifeless, colourless oils that have clearly been bleached and refined. Real cold pressed oils that have undergone zero-refining are usually darker in colour. Just like ours. We don’t do no funny business when it comes to it, we literally press the seeds and bottle the oil. It’s that simple. Pumpkin seed oil has so many benefits and is dark in colour naturally. This is where all the pigments, nutrients and beneficial properties sit. It’s very popular for hair growth and is a great carrier oil that can be used on the skin due to its non-greasy formula. It is one of the most studied oils with a lot of data behind it. It’s especially studied for it’s ability to work with DHT, which is a hormone created by our bodies.
