Vintage 1970s Vogue 8487 Sewing Pattern, Misses Size 8, Dress, Tunic & Pants

This is an authentic (not a reprint or reproduction) Vogue 8487 pattern featuring a Misses dress, tunic and pants. Loose-fitting A-line With or without purchased belt holding in fullness at waist. Wide, straight-legged pants are darted into inside ribbon waistband; topstitching. This pattern is for vintage 1970’s size 8, with bust to 31 ½ inches, waist to 24 inches, and hips to 33 ½ inches. This pattern has been cut, and all pieces included. It is complete with instructions and envelope. This pattern is not dated, but I believe the style and pricing help date this to the 1970's. Sizing has changed over the decades. The pattern shows size 8 with measurements as follows: Bust – 31 ½ inches Waist – 24 inches Hips – 33 ½ inches SUGGESTED FABRICS: Soft or crisp fabrics such as Gabardine, Flannel, Knits, Light and Medium Weight Wool, Broadcloth and Silk Linen. CONDITION: This pattern in good condition, with no odors or other issues. It has been cut. All tissues are COMPLETE. Instructions are inside envelope. The contents are completely usable. Vogue pattern envelope has a couple of minor tears, the top left corner has a tear, and has corner dings, creases at top flap, and slight age-related browning of paper. It has a stamp on it from the original store that sold it and a red check mark. Overall, good condition for age of envelope. More photos are available and can be shared upon request.
