Workbook for Naskh script - Arabic Calligraphy

This workbook for Naskh Arabic calligraphy script is based on work of famous Ottoman calligrapher Mehmed Sevki Efendi (1829 – 1887) who, many believe, developed the script to perfection. The workbook starts with brief introduction in Turkish and the main workbook has just Arabic letters, letter combinations and words written by Sevki as a model for calligraphy students to copy. Each section is followed by several blank pages giving students enough space to practice. The workbook is made from 130 gsm semigloss paper with very low porosity allowing the pen glide easily.
